PRESEC celebrates 86th anniversary with launch of groundbreaking AI centre

Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School (PRESEC) has marked its 86th anniversary by unveiling the Odadee 99 eXperience Center, a state-of-the-art AI centre funded by the 1999 Year Group.

The GH¢7.1 million facility aims to position the school as a leader in technological education, offering cutting-edge tools for robotics, design, and AI training.

Headmaster David Odjija highlighted the school’s academic achievements, including stellar WASSCE results and victories in national competitions.

Guest speaker, Bright Simons, stressed the importance of AI education in fostering local talent and innovation, calling for African nations to invest in home-grown solutions.

The AI centre is the first of its kind for secondary schools in West Africa.
