Ghanaian businessman and philanthropist Seidu Agongo has cautioned against overindulging children, warning that excessive comfort weakens them as adults.
Speaking on TV XYZ, he stressed that raising responsible individuals requires discipline and exposure to life’s challenges.
Agongo criticized parents who prioritize luxury over resilience, arguing that children must develop problem-solving skills. He also lamented the erosion of Ghanaian cultural values, likening the country to America, where traditions are fading.
Additionally, he questioned the education system’s focus on English over practical skills like farming, arguing that cultural preservation and discipline are key to national progress.
Agongo urged parents to instill strong values, warning that without proper guidance, children risk growing into unprepared adults.
