Parliament approves Muntaka, four regional ministers

Parliament has approved the nomination of Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, MP for Asawase, as Minister for the Interior.

Following rigorous vetting and debate, Muntaka’s appointment is seen as a recognition of his experience and commitment to public service.

In addition, four regional ministers-designate have been confirmed: Ali Adolf John for Northern Region, John Kwadwo Gyapong for Oti Region, James Gunu for Volta Region, and Mrs. Rita Akosua Awatey for Eastern Region.
