Parliament has officially sworn in three Members of Parliament—representing Techiman South, Okaikwei Central, and Tema Central—despite ongoing legal disputes over their election results.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) had taken legal action to block their swearing-in, citing discrepancies in the results from their respective constituencies.

Although the case is still pending in court, the three MPs, along with Ernest Kumi, the embattled Akwatia MP, were sworn in during the parliamentary inauguration.

The situation highlights the tension surrounding the legitimacy of election outcomes and the legal processes involved in contesting parliamentary seats.
