Parliament is scheduled to adjourn sine die (indefinitely) on Friday, March 28, following an intense final week of deliberations.
Deputy Majority Leader Ricketts Kweku Hagan, presenting the Business Statement on March 12, announced extended sittings from Monday, March 24, to Friday, March 28, to ensure all pending business is concluded.
Sittings will commence at 12 noon from Monday to Wednesday to allow committee meetings in the mornings, while plenary will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday and Friday.
Hagan urged committee chairpersons to expedite their work on the Annual Budget estimates to facilitate the passage of the 2025 Appropriation Bill.
He also called on all MPs to remain committed to scheduled proceedings to ensure a smooth adjournment.
