Parliament to resume sitting on May 27

Parliament will resume sittings this week after a recess. Lawmakers will return to the chamber for legislative business.

Speaker Alban Bagbin announced that the Second Meeting of the First Session will start on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. This notice follows Order 58 of the Standing Orders of Parliament. The Speaker must inform Members of Parliament about scheduled sittings.

This upcoming meeting marks the restart of parliamentary activities. It will include legislative debates and committee work. Discussions on pressing national matters are also expected.
