The Appointments Committee of Parliament is set to vet Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, the Minister-Designate for Lands and Natural Resources, and three regional ministers-designate today, Monday, 27 January 2025.

The vetting will begin at 9:00 a.m. in Committee Rooms 1 and 2 of the Parliament’s Administration Building.

This crucial process aims to evaluate the nominees put forward by President John Dramani Mahama for key leadership positions in his administration.

Alongside Buah, the nominees include Tia Ibrahim for the North East Region, Dr. Frank Amoakohene for the Ashanti Region, and Akamugri Atanga Donatus for the Upper East Region.

The Committee will assess their qualifications, experience, and proposed plans for the roles they are nominated to fill.
