‘Peace will come from direct talks, not biased UN’ – Israel’s Ambassador to Ghana

Israel’s Ambassador to Ghana, Roey Gilad, has criticized the United Nations (UN) for being biased against Israel in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Speaking on Joy News, he called for direct negotiations between Israel and Palestine, saying the UN General Assembly cannot be trusted as it consistently votes against Israel.

Gilad argued that peace can only be achieved through dialogue, not armed conflict, and stressed the need to eliminate Hamas, which he believes hinders any chance of peace.

The ambassador emphasized that Israel’s security concerns prevent it from leaving Gaza completely.
