A recent Global InfoAnalytics survey has identified the Ghana Police Service as the most corrupt public institution in the country.
The poll, which measured public perceptions of corruption, placed the Ghana Immigration Service second and the Judiciary third.
The Police Service topped the rankings with a corruption score of 6.43, followed by the Immigration Service at 5.86 and the Judiciary at 5.78.
These findings reflect deep-rooted public mistrust in law enforcement and judicial institutions, which play crucial roles in governance.
Allegations of bribery and misconduct over the years have further damaged their credibility. The report underscores an urgent need for reforms to rebuild public confidence and strengthen institutional integrity.
