Police arrest 3 suspects in connection with robbery, killing of MoMo vendors in A/R

The Ashanti Regional Police Command has arrested three suspects. They are linked to the robbery and murder of two mobile money vendors.

The first incident happened on February 13, 2025, in Krofrom. The victim, Patricia Nimako, was attacked and killed. The assailants stole an undisclosed amount of money.

The second incident occurred on March 10, 2025. Gideon Owusu Sarpong, known as "Junior," was robbed and murdered at home in Kwadaso.

After thorough investigations, police arrested three suspects on March 21, 2025. They are Charles Kwame Danso, 23; Philip Foujour, 29; and Samuel Addae Mensah, 42. The arrests took place in Pankrono and Atimatim.

The suspects are currently in police custody. They will soon face court proceedings.

Police are searching for a fourth suspect named Martin Amoah. He is also known as Augustine Amoah or "Baba Macho." Authorities believe he is hiding in Kumasi or nearby areas.
