Police arrest two suspects for murder in Tema

The Tema Regional Police Command has arrested two suspects. They are connected to a murder in the Tema Harbour area.

On Friday, May 30, 2025, police received a distress call. This call reported a lifeless male body found in the harbour.

On June 1, the police issued a statement about their investigation. They learned that some people had detained a man with a human head. The police quickly went to this second location.

They rescued the suspect, identified as Ali Mustapha. He was taken into custody immediately. Further investigations led to another arrest: Zakaria Mohammed.

The deceased's body is now at the Police Hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy. Both suspects remain in police custody as investigations continue. Efforts are ongoing to identify the deceased.
