Police dismiss claims of secret recruitment at Kumasi Training School

The Ghana Police Service has dismissed claims of a secret recruitment at the Kumasi Police Training School, following a viral video alleging such activity.

The police clarified that the facility was temporarily used to screen 487 suspects arrested in connection with the QNET Ponzi scheme.

Members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) reportedly stormed the school, suspecting covert recruitment, but left after finding no evidence.

The police urged the public to ignore the baseless rumours, affirming that the operation was solely related to the ongoing QNET investigation.
