Police nab two in connection with robbery, extortion incident

The Western Central Regional Police Command has arrested two suspects. They are linked to a robbery and extortion incident in Wangarakrom. This event occurred in the Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipality.

The arrests happened on Monday, March 31, 2025. The suspects are Kwame Mumuni and Awal Benjamin. They are currently in police custody.

Police recovered several items from the suspects. These include an unregistered red Suzuki motorbike. They also found military camouflage uniforms and three pairs of boots. Other items included a torch light, a black face mask, and GH¢645.

The suspects will soon appear in court for trial.
