Police probe alleged assault on MGL journalist during Wontumi’s arrest

The Greater Accra Regional Police Command is investigating an alleged assault. The victim is Joy FM journalist Latif Iddrisu. This incident occurred during the arrest of Bernard Antwi Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi.

The event took place on Tuesday, May 27. It happened at the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) in Accra. Chairman Wontumi was there after responding to a Criminal Investigations Department (CID) invitation regarding illegal mining activities.
