Posterity will vindicate Akufo-Addo’s good works - Bawumia

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the former Vice President, is the 2024 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He believes that future generations will recognize the achievements of former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

During the party’s Thank You Tour, Dr. Bawumia praised Akufo-Addo's leadership. He noted that many contributions to national development will be appreciated over time.

Dr. Bawumia stated that Akufo-Addo’s presidency brought significant changes to Ghana's economy. “History will be kind to President Akufo-Addo for his bold decisions,” he said.

He acknowledged that some initiatives faced criticism but assured that future generations would applaud them. The foundations laid under Akufo-Addo’s leadership are important for Ghana's progress.

As Vice President during Akufo-Addo’s administration, Dr. Bawumia highlighted key achievements. These include Free Senior High School education and digitalization of public services.

He also mentioned major infrastructure projects as vital investments for Ghana's future. Dr. Bawumia assured supporters that the NPP is committed to building on these accomplishments.

In closing, he urged Ghanaians to continue supporting the NPP. He promised that the party is ready to deliver even greater progress.

“We are grateful for your trust and pledge to work tirelessly for our nation,” he added.
