The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced scheduled maintenance.
This will take place at the Mallam Bulk Supply Point on Sunday, May 18, 2025.
The maintenance aims to improve electricity service delivery in affected areas.
However, it will cause a temporary power outage in several communities.
The Greater Accra Region will be impacted by this outage.
Affected areas include Odorkor, Awoshie, Sakaman, and Mallam.
Other areas are Darkuman, Santa Maria, Kwashieman, and Sowutuom.
Ablekuma, Tabora, Joma, and Manhean will also experience outages.
Additional communities like Gbawe and Weija will be affected too.
West Hills Mall, Oblogo, Anyaa, Bortianor, McCarthy Hills will lose power as well.
Mandela, Sunda Industries, Tuba, Dunkonaa, and Dansoman are included too.
ECG regrets any inconvenience caused by the planned outage.
They assure residents that this work is essential for better electricity distribution.
