Pres Mahama visits Veep on Mother’s Day

President John Dramani Mahama has sent warm Mother’s Day wishes to Ghanaian mothers. He gave a special tribute to Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang. She is currently recovering from an illness.

On Sunday, May 11, President Mahama shared his message on Facebook. He mentioned visiting the Vice President earlier that day. He expressed happiness about her recovery.

He wrote, “A special Mother’s Day greeting to my Vice President.” He noted she is resting after her illness and looks forward to resuming her duties soon.

The government stated that medical experts advised the Vice President to seek further treatment abroad. This is a precautionary measure for her full recovery.
