Pres unveils Adwumawura  …initiative to create 10,000 businesses annually

President John Dramani Mahama has launched the Adwu­mawura programme. This initiative is part of his campaign promises. It aims to create sustainable jobs for Ghanaian youth.

The programme plans to incubate 10,000 new businesses. It will also support existing businesses. The goal is to create 20,000 jobs each year.

Adwu­mawura focuses on youth employment and entrepreneurship. It encourages innovation in key sectors of the economy.

The initiative will offer various support services. These include business development training and access to funding. Participants will receive coaching and mentorship as well.

Additionally, there will be technological support and access to machinery. The programme will help with market access and facilitation. Business advisory services will be available around the clock.
