At its 18th congregation held in Abetifi, Presbyterian University, Ghana (PUG), conferred degrees to 618 students across various fields, including Business, Science, Law, and Nursing.

Among the graduates, 110 earned first-class honors.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. John Ofosu-Anim applauded the significant number of female graduates, highlighting the institution’s commitment to gender balance in education.

Justice Prof. Emmanuel Kotey, Chairman of the University Council, commended the graduates’ resilience, as they completed their studies amid the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Prof. Kotey urged the government to support private universities through GETFund and encouraged graduates to see their degrees as a responsibility to contribute to society.

He further appealed to all Ghanaians to maintain peace in the December 7 elections.
