President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has commissioned two new envoys at a ceremony held on December 20, 2024, at the Jubilee House.

The appointees are H.E. William Anani-Abotsi, High-Commissioner-designate to Trinidad and Tobago, and H.E. Bonaventure Adjavon, Ambassador-designate to Zimbabwe.

In his address, the President lauded the diplomats for their exemplary service as Foreign Service Officers and urged them to enhance Ghana's international reputation, foster cooperation with their host countries, and attract investments.

H.E. Anani-Abotsi, on behalf of the envoys, expressed gratitude for the appointments, pledging to advance Ghana’s global interests.

The event was attended by government officials, clergy, and family members of the appointees.
