President Mahama returns to Ghana after seeing Nigeria's Tinubu over collabo to fight terrorism, violent extremism

President John Mahama has returned from a one-day visit to Abuja, Nigeria.

During his visit, he met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Mahama thanked Tinubu for attending his inauguration on January 7, 2025.

They discussed ways to strengthen ECOWAS and combat terrorism.

Mahama also briefed the Chair of ECOWAS on talks with Mali, Niger, and Burkina Faso.
