President John Dramani Mahama has committed to tackling youth unemployment by collaborating with the private sector to create sustainable, well-paying jobs.

In his inaugural address at the Black Star Square on January 7, Mahama emphasized inclusivity, accountability, and innovation as key to improving the lives of Ghanaians, particularly the youth.

Acknowledging the pivotal role young people played in his electoral victory, Mahama pledged to prioritize their aspirations. He described the December 2024 election outcome as a testament to the youth’s demand for change and hope.

“Our policies will foster innovation and empower industries to engage today’s young minds,” he said, promising a brighter future through strategic partnerships and policies that uplift Ghana’s youth.
