President nominates 81 more MMDCES

The Governance Act of 2016 (Act 936) has nominated 81 Chief Executives.

These nominees are for Metropolitan, Municipal, and District assemblies.

They are spread across nine regions: Bono East, Bono, Upper West, Western, Central, Upper East, Northern, Ashanti, and Savannah.

The announcement was made by Dr. Calistus Mahama on Saturday.

This follows an earlier presentation of 71 nominations.

The nominees now await approval from the assemblies.
