President of Czech Republic to visit Ghana

President John Mahama will host Czech President Petr Pavel. The state visit will last three days, from April 8 to 10.

This is the first official visit by a Czech President to Ghana. Diplomatic relations began between Ghana and Czechoslovakia in October 1959.

The visit is a significant milestone for both countries. It will be President Mahama's first State Visit since January 2025.

During his stay, President Pavel will hold talks with President Mahama. They will discuss mutual interests and cooperation.

President Pavel will also address a business forum. This forum aims to strengthen economic ties between Ghana and the Czech Republic.

Additionally, he will inaugurate a health facility funded by the Czech Republic. This demonstrates ongoing collaboration in development between the two nations.

President Pavel plans to visit important landmarks in Ghana. These include Osu Castle and Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park.

These visits aim to deepen his understanding of Ghana's heritage.

In a gesture of goodwill, President Mahama will host a State Dinner. This dinner honors President Pavel and his delegation, strengthening their relationship further.
