President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Abidjan, Cote D'Ivoire. He is there for the 60th Annual Meeting of the Africa Development Bank. He will also attend the 51st Annual Meeting of the African Development Fund.
The President was accompanied by his Executive Secretary, Dr. Calistus Mahama. Stanliv Dogbe, the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, joined them as well.
Upon arrival at Felix Houphoet Boigny International Airport, he was welcomed by Kone Amadou, the Ivorian Minister of Transport.
The meeting officially opens today, May 27, 2025. Its theme is “Making Africa’s Capital Work Better for Africa’s Development.”
A key highlight will be electing a new President. This new leader will replace Dr. Akinwumi Adesina. He has completed two terms and cannot run again.
