Samuel Amegayibor is the Executive Secretary of GREDA. He urges Ghanaians to stop empty talk and take real action.
On the Asaase Breakfast Show, he introduced “NATO.” This stands for “No Action, Talk Only.” He believes this mindset is holding Ghana back.
Amegayibor emphasized the need to focus on useful deeds instead. He expressed concern about professionals who enter politics. Many abandon their skills and values once they do.
He said, “You see people who know what to do. They enter politics and forget their background.” He added that they become the politicians we often complain about.
Amegayibor believes Ghana needs a new leadership culture. This culture should encourage capable professionals to lead effectively.
He clarified, “I’m not attacking lawyers; I’m just sharing an example.” He stressed that professionals must be allowed to lead too.
