Professor Ameyaw-Akumfi detained by NIB

Prof. Christopher Ameyaw-Akumfi, former Chairman of the Public Procurement Authority (PPA) Board, has been taken into custody by the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) at Kawukudi, near Nima in Accra.

The reasons for his detention remain undisclosed, but his legal team is actively working to secure his release.

As of now, his lawyers are at the NIB offices, seeking bail for the former Education Minister.
