Former Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the NDC, Ade Coker, has dismissed allegations from Rev. John Ntim Fordjour. The MP for Assin South claimed suspicious flights are arriving in Ghana.
Coker spoke on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem. He challenged Fordjour to provide evidence for his claims. “If you are alleging, then prove it,” he stated.
He criticized the MP for asking authorities to investigate without proof. “You claim to have information, so bring it,” he added.
Coker emphasized that planes land frequently. Any claim of illicit cargo needs solid evidence. “You can’t just make claims without backing them up,” he argued.
He also noted that investigative work should not fall solely on authorities. “If you have the information, bring it to the relevant agencies,” he said.
Coker dismissed the claims as mere noise. He asserted that airport security protocols are strict enough to catch suspicious activity.
“They just want to be heard, but it’s much ado about nothing,” he remarked. He explained that all details of a plane are recorded upon landing.
“If something suspicious happens, there’s no way it could go unnoticed,” Coker continued. He mentioned that someone unloading cargo would likely report any issues.
Coker further criticized Fordjour for making unfounded accusations. “You can’t just say a plane landed with cocaine without offering any evidence,” he urged him to substantiate his claims.
