The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released provisional results.
These results are for 12,452 candidates who took the WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2025 First Series.
Among these candidates, there are 5,269 males and 7,998 females.
However, 738 registered candidates were absent during the examination.
On March 28, WAEC issued a statement about the exam process.
They detected some malpractices during the examination and marking.
As a result, the subject results of 34 candidates have been withheld.
Additionally, the entire results of 43 candidates are also on hold.
This is pending investigations into the malpractice cases.
WAEC is committed to maintaining exam integrity and will conclude investigations quickly.
The withheld results will be released once all investigations are complete.
Candidates and educational institutions are urged to remain patient.
Further updates will be provided as necessary during this process.
