Ramadan Cup: Kudus, Kamaldeen donate trophy, medals and cash prize for 10th edition

Black Stars players Mohammed Kudus and Kamal Deen Sulemana donated to the 10th annual Sheikh Sharubutu Ramadan Cup. The tournament will take place on Saturday, April 19, 2025, in Accra.

The West Ham and Southampton stars presented a trophy, medals, and GH 5000 Cedis. This cash prize will go to the winners of the competition.

The tournament organizers expressed their gratitude in a statement. They thanked the players for their generous support in honor of the National Chief Imam.

The Sheikh Sharubutu Ramadan Cup brings together youth from over 30 Zongo communities. It promotes peace and togetherness while showcasing football talent from these communities.

This landmark 10th edition is called the "Champions Edition." It will feature only former champions and communities with notable records.

Fifteen Zongo communities will compete for the trophy at Kawokudi Park in Accra. Ashaiman, the defending champions, have won the trophy three times.

Kudus and Sulemana follow Rashid Sumaila and Andre Ayew's example by donating to this tournament.
