The ILO’s Fair Recruitment Initiative promotes recruitment based on merit and transparency. It opposes discrimination based on gender, race, or religion. Dr. Rashid Pelpuo highlighted the urgent need for ethical recruitment systems before the event.
He stated that this discussion goes beyond labor policy; it is a call to action. The goal is to protect dignity and fairness in work environments globally. With changing global labor dynamics, this conference offers a chance to build on existing FRI achievements.
It aims to tackle new challenges and create a just recruitment framework for all workers, regardless of nationality.
