Re-collation of results at police training school an illegality – Asiedu Nketiah

Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has criticized the re-collation of election results for four Eastern Region constituencies, calling it “illegitimate.”

Speaking at a press conference on December 13, he argued that the re-collation, ordered by the Electoral Commission (EC) on December 12 for Suhum, Nsawam Adoagyiri, Fanteakwa North, and Akwatia, lacked legal grounds.

The constituencies have faced disputes over the original results. Nketiah emphasized that the process was not supported by law or mutual agreement between political parties and the EC, warning that those involved in the re-collation could face consequences in the future.
