Reflect on COVID-19 lessons for future pandemics - Dr Christian Drosten

Dr. Christian Drosten is a Professor of Virology. He also directs the Institute of Virology at Charité, Berlin. He recently urged health sector stakeholders to reflect on COVID-19 lessons.

He emphasized the challenges that arose during the pandemic. These challenges affected healthcare delivery worldwide. Countries should learn from measures adopted during COVID-19 for future pandemics.

Dr. Drosten spoke at the Kingfisher Science Salon Series last Wednesday. This event was organized by the German Embassy in Accra. The lecture focused on "Corona quo vadis: State of Play and Challenges Ahead." Major health sector stakeholders attended the event.
