Alexander Twum Barimah, Deputy Director-General of the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC), has warned MP Rev. John Ntim Fordjour. This warning comes after Fordjour refused to cooperate with investigations into his drug trafficking claims.
On Eyewitness News, Barimah stated that the MP has not appeared for questioning. Despite multiple attempts to reach him, Fordjour declined to meet with NACOC or any security body.
Barimah said, “If he continues this way, we will have no choice but to act.” He noted that Fordjour claimed he was not invited to meetings. The MP also stated he would not appear even if called.
Barimah stressed that this issue is about more than just NACOC. It involves national security and coordination among all security agencies in the country.
He added, “If an arrest is necessary, it will be carried out by the appropriate agencies.”
