Regional May Day celebrations

This year’s May Day celebration, also known as International Workers’ Day, featured parades. These events highlighted workers' achievements and challenges.

In the Bono East and Ahafo regions, the celebration took place at Jubilee Park in Sunyani.

Daniel Dzirasah reported on the festivities. Workers from New Times Corporation participated at Independence Square during the event.

The Regional Minister, Joseph Addae-Akwaboa, addressed the May Day parade. He stated that the government recognizes labor concerns and poor working conditions.

He assured attendees that the government is engaging with organized labor. They aim to create a better salary structure for workers.
