Prof. Ransford Gyampo, the newly appointed Acting CEO of the Ghana Shippers Authority (GSA), has responded to critics questioning his acceptance of the role under President Mahama.
Speaking on TV3, he dismissed claims that his appointment was a political reward, insisting it would be "unpatriotic" to refuse an opportunity to serve the nation.
Gyampo emphasized that he has always been an independent voice, having previously criticized former presidents Kufuor, Mills, Mahama, and Akufo-Addo.
He rejected suggestions that his acceptance aligns him with the NDC, calling such claims a display of "low-key intelligence."
Gyampo assured Ghanaians that he remains committed to holding the government accountable, regardless of who is in power.
