Mussa Dankwah, Executive Director of Global InfoAnalytics, has dismissed claims that religion played a role in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) defeat in the 2024 general elections.
Speaking to Graphic Online on February 10, Dankwah emphasized that voters prioritized economic conditions, governance issues, and party performance over religious affiliations.
He noted that data from recent polls showed no significant religious influence in voter decisions.
Dankwah urged political analysts to focus on key issues that shaped the election outcome rather than attributing the loss to religion.
He further advised political parties to assess their strategies ahead of future elections based on voter concerns rather than divisive narratives.
