Saviour Kudze, the Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA), has urged calm. He emphasized the need for respect during the ongoing discussions about Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo's suspension.
“It is unfair to be judgmental now,” Kudze said. He believes it is important to let the process unfold. This statement was made on the Asaase Breakfast Show.
His remarks come amid increased public interest and political debate. Kudze is worried about how lawyers and politicians are discussing this issue.
He noted that some lawyers are making conclusions about an ongoing process. “This is not proper,” he stated.
Kudze also mentioned that if political parties discuss it politically, we lose sight of constitutional importance.
