Rev Wengam bids farewell to his mother

Reverend Stephen Wengam, General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of his mother, Madam Deborah Wengam.

Speaking at her funeral on January 25 at the State House in Accra, he described her death as the most devastating experience of his life.

The service, attended by dignitaries including President John Mahama, featured heartfelt tributes celebrating Madam Wengam's life as a devoted mother and community leader.

Reverend Wengam found solace in scripture, quoting Psalm 116:15-16, and openly shared the emotional toll of losing his mother.
