The Executive Director of the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA), Sulemana Braimah, has urged Attorney General Dr. Dominic Ayine to publicly reveal the identity of the Member of Parliament allegedly bribed to suppress media reports on the National Service Authority (NSA) ghost names scandal.
Dr. Ayine recently disclosed that former NSA Director General, Osei Assibey Antwi, paid the MP to block coverage of the fraudulent payroll scheme.
Braimah insists that naming the legislator is crucial for transparency and preserving Parliament’s credibility. In a Facebook post, he stressed that withholding the identity only fuels speculation.
Meanwhile, the Attorney General maintains that investigations into the payroll fraud are making significant progress.
