Richard Jakpa assaulted while on ballot printing supervision exercise

Mr. Richard Jakpa, an NDC ballot printing supervisor, was reportedly assaulted by an alleged NPP supporter while performing his duties at Innolink.

The incident, which has been reported to Kaneshie Police Station, awaits a statement from the suspect.

NDC’s Director of Elections, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, has called on Innolink to release CCTV footage to aid the investigation.

The NDC urged the Ghana Police Service to act swiftly, stressing that this incident highlights security concerns for individuals fulfilling civic duties ahead of the upcoming elections.
