Richard Nii Armah Quaye Steps Down

Ghanaian entrepreneur Richard Nii Armah Quaye has resigned as CEO and Board Chairman of Quick Angels and Bills Micro Credit. He announced his decision at a press conference on April 28, 2025, at the Alisa Hotel in Accra.

This resignation is part of his plan to retire from business ventures. He had shared this decision a few weeks earlier. During the event, he introduced his new venture, RNAQ Holdings.

Quaye stated, “As I transition into retirement, I aim to unite young individuals with financial resources.” He wants to connect them with exceptional skills and early-stage enterprises. His goal is to spark an economic revolution that strengthens Ghana.

He emphasized that he is focused on economic prosperity and has no political ambitions. This statement comes amid speculation about his future plans.

Quaye's retirement follows a grand 40th birthday celebration at Black Star Square in Accra. The event featured performances by artists like Davido and Sarkodie. It was attended by many prominent figures from Ghana’s business and entertainment sectors.

Despite retiring early, Quaye encourages the public to invest in venture capital. He believes this will help support start-up businesses and small to medium enterprises (SMEs) across the country.

Lawyer Dei Kwarteng will become chairman of Bills Micro Credit. Emmanuel N.L. Lamptey will take over as CEO of Quick Angels.
