Richard Nii Armah Quaye Steps Down

Ghanaian entrepreneur Richard Nii Armah Quaye has resigned as CEO and Board Chairman of Quick Angels and Bills Micro Credit.

He announced his resignation at a press conference on April 28, 2025. The event took place at the Alisa Hotel in Accra.

This decision is part of his plan to retire from business ventures. He had shared this intention a few weeks earlier. Quaye also introduced his new venture, RNAQ Holdings.

During the event, he stated, “As I transition into retirement, I aim to unite young individuals with financial resources.” He wants to connect them with exceptional skills and early-stage enterprises.

His goal is to spark an economic revolution that strengthens Ghana. He emphasized that he is focused on economic prosperity and has no political ambitions.

Quaye's retirement follows a grand 40th birthday celebration at Black Star Square in Accra. The celebration featured performances by artists like Davido and Sarkodie. It was attended by many prominent figures from Ghana’s business and entertainment sectors.

Despite retiring early, Quaye has no plans to enter politics. However, he encourages the public to invest in venture capital for start-ups and SMEs across the country.

Lawyer Dei Kwarteng will become chairman of Bills Micro Credit. Emmanuel N.L. Lamptey will take over as CEO of Quick Angels.
