Ricketts Hagan chairs newly constituted GRA Board

Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, the Minister for Finance, has inaugurated a new board for the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).

The board consists of nine members. Hon. George Ricketts Hagan is the Chairperson. He is a former Deputy Finance Minister and MP for Cape Coast South.

The board's main tasks are to boost revenue generation and promote integrity in tax administration. Other members include Mr. Anthony Sarpong, the GRA Commissioner.

During the inauguration, Dr. Forson emphasized the GRA's crucial role in national development. He noted that government policies rely on revenue mobilized by the Authority.

He urged the board to maintain high standards of dedication and integrity. Additionally, he encouraged them to act decisively against smuggling and revenue leakages.
