Roads and Highways Minister, Kwame Agbodza, inspected construction work on four major bridges. These bridges are in the Savanna and Northern Regions. They are located at Buipe, Yapei, Daboya, and Nawunu. This initiative aims to improve connectivity in northern Ghana.

Mr. Agbodza was accompanied by Deputy Minister Alhassan Suhuyini and engineers. They also visited the Binjia-Fufulso road and Damango town roads to check progress. This inspection is part of his effort to monitor infrastructure developments nationwide.

After touring the Buipe and Yapei bridges, Mr. Agbodza spoke to the media. He highlighted the importance of these projects for Ghana’s transport network. The bridges will help move goods and people between Northern and Southern Regions. They also serve as key routes for neighboring landlocked countries.

He expressed satisfaction with the construction pace. He assured local chiefs and residents of the government's commitment to completing the bridges.

This inspection is part of a four-day tour across several regions. The Minister will visit Northern, North East, Savannah, Upper East, and Upper West Regions. During this tour, he plans to meet with the Yaa Naa as well. He will also inspect major road infrastructure projects like Sawla-Wa road and others.
