The Ministry of Roads and Highways is improving road safety in Ghana. They are installing crash barriers at key locations across the country.
Work is currently underway on the Koforidua–Mamfe–Aburi Highway. It is also happening at the Brimso Bridge and near Achimota Forest, specifically at Dimples Roundabout.
These installations follow successful work on the Aburi–Nsawam stretch. That project significantly improved safety and reduced accidents in that area.
The contractor, Messrs Hacianda Enterprise Ltd, has started the installation. They have been officially handed over the sites for this work.
This initiative is part of a broader strategy by the Ministry. Their goal is to protect road users and reduce fatalities on highways.
Motorists should drive carefully through active construction zones. The Ministry and Ghana Highway Authority appreciate public cooperation during these improvements.
