President John Dramani Mahama has charged newly sworn-in Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Christian Tetteh Yohuno with tackling corruption within the Ghana Police Service.
Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony at Jubilee House on March 14, Mahama stressed that corruption weakens public trust and undermines justice.
He urged the IGP to take firm action against bribery and abuse of power, emphasizing the need for a transparent and accountable police force.
Mahama reiterated his administration’s commitment to strengthening law enforcement institutions to ensure integrity and professionalism in policing.
