‘SHS heads must be granted autonomy to cater for unique interest of students’ - Ghanaian Times

Mr. Akwasi Addae-Boahene is the Chief Technical Advisor of T-TEL. He believes senior high school heads should operate independently. This autonomy would help them make decisions for their students' needs.

He spoke in Accra on Wednesday at an event organized by the Achimota Old Students Association. The discussion focused on the Free Senior High School (SHS) policy and necessary reforms.

Mr. Addae-Boahene emphasized that independence would allow school leaders to create innovative curricula. This change could foster a culture of excellence in secondary schools.
