SIC Insurance PLC pays over GH₵1.54m claim to GCB

SIC Insurance PLC has paid GH₵ 1,541,446.19 to GCB Bank PLC.

This claim was processed under GCB Bank’s Bankers Blanket Policy.

A brief ceremony took place at GCB Bank's Head Office in Accra. James Agyenim-Boateng, Acting Managing Director of SIC Insurance, presented the cheque. He handed it over to Mr. Socrates Afram, Deputy Managing Director (Finance) of GCB Bank.

Mr. Agyenim-Boateng thanked GCB Bank for their long-standing relationship with SIC Insurance. He reaffirmed SIC's commitment to fulfilling its obligations.

He emphasized that SIC Insurance is stable and financially strong. The company pays claims promptly and encourages businesses to work with them.

Mr. Agyenim-Boateng highlighted recent payments made by SIC Insurance. They recently paid over $1 million in claims to a client in Accra. They also paid $780,000 to another company in Tema.

“At SIC Insurance PLC, we value our relationship with GCB Bank,” he said. “We take our promises seriously because they are sacred.” He humorously added that they will ensure clients receive their cheques during tough times.

In response, Mr. Socrates Afram expressed appreciation for the partnership with SIC Insurance. He noted that the relationship benefits both institutions.

The event reinforced SIC Insurance PLC’s commitment to supporting clients and honoring insurance obligations without delay.
