A leadership standoff has hit SIC Insurance Company Limited as outgoing Managing Director Hollistar Duah-Yentumi has reportedly refused to hand over to her successor, James Agyenim-Boateng.
Mr. Agyenim-Boateng, appointed by President John Mahama on January 24, 2025, revealed that he has been unable to access his office because it remains locked, with Duah-Yentumi allegedly in possession of the keys.
Speaking on Citi FM, he described the situation as "strange," stating that he has been forced to work remotely due to the impasse.
Reports indicate that Duah-Yentumi is challenging her removal in court and seeking a restraining order against Agyenim-Boateng.
